Ilebaye reveals why she communicated with cowrie shells on BBNaija show: "They were for my late brother"

Big Brother Naija All Stars winner, Ilebaye Odiniya, has reveals the significance of the cowrie shells she brought into Biggie’s House during the show.

During her interview on Pulse’s One On One, anchored by her colleague, Christy O, the 22-year-old Gen Z Baddie said she carries and speaks with the cowrie shells as a way to keep the memory of her late brother alive.

Christy O said to Ilebaye;

“There is a claim online where CeeC was saying that you had cowries that you were talking to. Can you tell me more about it?”

In response, Ilebaye said;

“I had something precious to me. Because obviously, you are supposed to have something precious when you’re doing something that you miss at home.

“And the cowries were for my late brother. It has been with me and even the baton. I have a baton on him too. I didn’t know where to keep it. I was just like, Oh! Let me hold something strong.”

She added that

“It just helps me feel like he [my late brother] is around. He is still with me”.
