High-profile Nollywood actor Ikechukwu Mitchell Ogbonna, popularly known as IK Ogbonna, has shed some light on the type of woman he considers his spec.
The thespian disclosed that he is easily attracted to women of mixed origin, who are popularly known as “half-caste.’’
IK, who is also a model, disclosed that he has been involved in a romantic relationship with a dark-skinned lady in the past, but he prefers women of mixed racial origin.
He also noted that he does not discriminate against women because of their skin colour or racial background, but he finds himself attracted to women of mixed origins.
IK Ogbonna said:
“I am someone that would not discriminate; I have dated across religions and tribes. I don’t look at a person and question where you are coming from, it just so happens that I find myself with particular kinds of persons, we call it ‘spec’. You know when they tell you or say your spec is half-caste, it becomes that you are drawn to half-castes. It doesn’t mean I haven’t dated dark-skinned. So there is no discrimination, it’s just wherever I find myself then.”
It will be recalled that the superstar Nollywood actor and model married a half-caste woman, Sonia Morales, in Italy in 2015. The union bore a son in the same year, Ace Ikechukwu Ogbonna.

IK Ogbonna and Sonia would go their separate ways in 2019 after Sonia, a Columbian model, announced their divorce in 2019.
