Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Femi Adebayo has finally spoken up about the ongoing drama between his wife, Aduke, and actress, Dayo Amusa.
Taking to the comment section of her latest post, Femi stated that he realized Dayo was now directing her criticism towards him. He conveyed that she had chosen the wrong person to pick a fight with.
He asserted that if her concern lies with his success, she would never find peace of mind because he is just getting started. Femi advised her to focus her energy on her career and cease attempting to undermine him.
He wrote
“I now see that you truly want to come for me. You have actually done it with the wrong person. If my success is your problem, you can never have rest of mind because I have just started. It’s advisable you channel your energy to your career and not be too busy ok bringing me down”.
Glamsquad reported that Dayo Amusa and Aduke came for each other as they traded words on social media over the ‘Best Dressed Female’ award that was presented to controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky on Sunday, 24th March at Eniola Ajao’s movie premiere Ajanaku: Beast of Two Worlds.
Dayo voiced her discontent with the disrespect shown towards the female attendees at the premiere. The actress criticized the judges and organizers, asserting that it was inappropriate to name a crossdresser as the best-dressed female. She argued that they should have established a separate category to recognize crossdressers instead.
Reacting to it via her Instagram page, Aduke slammed Dayo for attempting to undermine her husband due to his role in presenting the award to Bobrisky. She questioned the logic behind blaming the presenter of an award for the recipient’s selection.
In response to Aduke’s defence of her husband, Dayo took to the comment section, asserting that while it’s acceptable for Aduke to support her husband, resorting to banter only reveals shallowness.
Dayo emphasized the importance of the actor taking responsibility for his actions and doing what is necessary. She clarified that she wasn’t disguising herself as an enemy and stated that hypocrisy wasn’t a trait she possessed.
Aduke fired back, questioning the extent of damage Dayo was capable of inflicting.
In a new Instagram post, Aduke referred to the actress as a hypocrite and accused her of being evil-minded. She recounted how Dayo had apologized to Femi over the phone earlier in the day and promised to record a video retracting her statement.
Aduke made it clear to Dayo that God is greater than her, emphasizing that those whom God has blessed cannot be cursed by anyone.
