Fashion Week has to be one of my favourite seasons as a fashion girl because it tends to provide content and insight to live on for the rest of the year if you know just what to look for.
Another super thing about Fashion Week is that a new hierarchy emerges and the fashion food chain is rejigged. Whether it’s new designers making waves, New bloggers and Creative Directors, Editors on the rise or in Paris Couture Week 2017’s case, Icons and Veterans becoming the new Fashion “It girls”.
Just in-case you were still wondering, I’m talking about Celine Dion and Tracee Ellis Ross. There is nothing more endearing and exciting that when Veterans and one thing become rising stars at another thing. It’s the circle of life and Celine Dion and Tracee Ellis Ross and making it work.
While Ms Dion was a million different shades of glamorous, Ms Ross jr was all about variety with fashion forward casual looks and pieces elegant enough to merit the usage of the word “High Fashion.”
