“I wish I was never famous” – Bobrisky

Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, has revealed the personal toll fame has taken on his privacy.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, he shared his regret over the loss of personal space that came with his rise to stardom.

Bobrisky lamented the relentless scrutiny of social media, where every post is dissected, leaving little room for privacy. He admitted that, given the cost, he sometimes wishes he had never attained fame.

Bobrisky further acknowledged the challenges of maintaining personal boundaries within Nigeria’s online community, where constant scrutiny and invasive commentary make privacy almost impossible.

He acknowledged the downsides of fame, including the relentless monitoring and attention that come with it.

Bobrisky emphasized the importance of keeping personal information private and off social media to avoid unnecessary scrutiny and unwanted attention.

“Every spirit of monitoring spirit in my life, dissapear.Imagine posting and people are trying to know your location. I lost my privacy ever since I became famous.I wish I was never famous.You just have to keep everything about you away from social Nigeria is too toxic”.
