Chris Cuomo made the bold assertion that once CNN fired him, he “was going to kill everybody,” including himself.

In late 2021, the network fired the former primetime anchor for helping his brother, the incumbent governor of New York at the time, Andrew Cuomo, navigate a sexual misconduct scandal.

On his podcast “Open Book with Anthony Scaramucci,” the 52-year-old revealed in the former White House press secretary.

“I had to accept [my firing] because I was going to kill everybody, including myself. Things can consume you, he said.

After being “s-t-canned” by CNN executives, the fired journalist acknowledged he “makes a lot of mistakes” and started therapy.

“There is damage that is relatable, there is damage that is unrelatable to people that I have to deal with, that I am working on,” he continued.

Since then, Chris has returned to television on NewsNation, but he has admitted that he is ashamed by the declining popularity of his new program.
