Nigerian media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, has expressed his views on the significance of cultural representation in international settings.
He specifically recommended that Nigerian politicians and officials adopt traditional attire when attending events abroad, emphasizing the need to showcase the country’s rich cultural heritage.
In a post on his X page, Ebuka tweeted:
“I think Nigerian politicians and officials should wear traditional attire even more when they are out of the country”
Ebuka’s opinion is something Netizens have deliberated upon in the past on social media. They believe that wearing traditional Nigerian outfits at global functions would send a powerful message about the country’s diversity and uniqueness while fostering greater cultural appreciation internationally.

While answering a question about one’s most challenging year with mental health, Ebuka Uchendu revealed that 2012 was his worst.
According to him, 2012 was the year he cried more than his entire life. “2012. Cried more in that year than my entire conscious life combined”.
The father of two also opened up about his health challenges. In a post on his X page, Ebuka noted that despite the health scares during the year, he ended last year in surgery.
Not revealing what he later went into surgery for, Ebuka Obi Uchendu however said he is now focused on “fixing” his body.
