Nollywood actor, Uzor Arukwe has recalled his days of struggles before and after entering the movie industry.
Uzor, in a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jidenwo recounted that losing his corporate job in 2012, before he joined Nollywood, was one of the most difficult times in his life.
The ‘A Tribe Called Judah’ star mentioned that he was unemployed from November 2012 to December 2013 but chose not to disclose this to his mom until now and to his older brother for several years.

Speaking about his private life, he revealed that he is married with children but has managed to keep his personal life separate from his work. He mentioned that he does this to maintain his sanity and shield his family from public scrutiny, following the example of many experienced actors he admires.

Shedding more light on his early years experiences in Nollywood, the actor recalled how he entered and exited the industry on multiple occasions. He mentioned being paid N1k, N2k, and N10k for his initial roles. He also admitted to receiving only a “thank you for coming” as payment for one of his movie roles.
