I may not have gotten to where I am if I were tall – Diminutive actor Yaw Dabo slams those who mock his height

Yaw Dabo, a diminutive Ghanaian actor, has lashed out at those who make fun of his height, glamsquad reports.

In response to trolls, Dabo stated that his stature has aided his success. He also stated that everyone should remember that God created him special in his own way.

Dabo stated;

“Perhaps I am better than you, for those who insult me.” If I were in your family and asked you to do something for me, you would most likely rush to complete it. If a funeral came to my house, I would probably send you to get chairs.

“To the person who is insulting me, if your house has a funeral, the wealthiest person will make you carry the coffin.” Look, I always say that before you insult someone, you should look in the mirror.

“You can’t talk about everything you see with your eyes.” This is advice for netizens who hide behind their phones and laptops to slander others.

“Not everything you see is what it appears to be. God created me this way for a reason; maybe if I were like you, I wouldn’t have gotten to where I am now, but since God created me this way, I am better than you.”

 

Dabo also stated that his personal experience with being the target of numerous negative comments taught him to be cautious in his own criticism of others.

“I keep my mouth shut when I say things about other people.” The Bible advises men to lock their mouths with padlocks to avoid getting into trouble. The mouth can get you into trouble, leading you to say something hurtful about someone and later looking for them to apologize but not finding them.”
