Quavo is speaking out about Takeoff’s passing, and he did so with a lengthy memorial that emphasized their illustrious relationship.
The rapper posted a homage to his nephew and rhyme partner on Instagram. He began by reliving their formative years and expressing how terrible his loss is because Takeoff had always been by his side in almost everything.
The fact that Takeoff was the quietest person in the room but was constantly watching was one of the qualities Quavo mentioned as qualities he’ll always remember. Takeoff, according to Quavo, was the group member that was both the least bothered and the funniest overall.
In addition, he claims that Takeoff has always felt more like a brother to him than a nephew, despite the fact that he was the son of Quavo’s older sister. It seems that he compared him to an angel. Quavo then gave a moving comment after reflecting on Takeoff’s passing in particular.
He wrote, “Me and u knew we gon always be with each other for life and jus like now we gon see each other again. I love with you all my heart. I’ll never leave you I guess God jus ain’t need my help. So can you ask Him for me what I gotta do to be with you again!!!”
