Hollywood icon, Denzel Washington recently shared intriguing insights into his journey in the film industry.

Speaking with BBC1Xtra, the acclaimed actor revealed he hasn’t auditioned for a role in nearly four decades.

He admitted that he can’t even recall the last time he participated in an audition

“It’s been about 40 years for that [love]. I haven’t auditioned for a movie in about 40 years. I won an Academy Award in 1989. I’m sure no one has asked me to audition since then.”

When asked if he missed auditioning, Denzel Washington gave a firm “No.”
