Still weighing on the issue, Ubi Franklin took to his Instagram story and shared a motivational quote that addressed how expectation controls disappointments. It also noted how one can’t control what people, do but can control what to expects from others.
The quote reads:
“Expectations controls disappointments. I can’t control what you do to me, but I can control what I expect from you. And once I found out what you are capable of doing, I lower my expectations to your capabilities so I can’t get shocked by your behavior, because I can’t control what you do, but I control what to expect because to the degree that I control what I expect. I monitor disappointment, because disappointment is the in result of lofty expectations”.
