"I began taking care of my family at 11”- Oluwadolarz spills

Nigerian skitmaker and singer, Olamide Ogunleye, better known as Oluwadolarz has shared his grass to grace inspiring story of resilience and determination on the ‘WithChude’ podcast.

He discussed the hardships he faced after losing his father at a tender age, which led him to take on adult responsibilities to support his family.

The father of one further stated that at age 11, he became the primary breadwinner for his family, worrying about their basic needs.

He recalled working at the Dangote Cement factory in Ebute Metta to make money

He said,

“I was once a truck loader at Dangote Cement at Ebutee Metta. I was loading pasta.”

“I lost my dad at a very early age like when I was 2 years old. But I had a stepdad who supported us. He died in 2015.

“I did not enjoy my childhood. I became a man at the age of 11. At that age, I was contemplating what the family would eat. I started music in 2008. It did not move at all.”

Oluwadolarz revealed that in 2020, he faced a rape accusation that led to job losses, depression, and mounting debt.

“On the rape allegation, I lost a lot of jobs. I was depressed because that was the same period I had my child. I paid a lot of debts because they wanted me to repay their money. They did not want to associate themselves with my brand.”

Glamsquad recalls that a few weeks back, Oluwadolaz trended on social media after he disclosed that a certain music executive asked him to engage in homos*xuality bend over” before offering to promote his songs, endorse his music, or help him climb the charts.

Interestingly, music executive and Marvin record boss, Collins Ajere better known as Don Jazzy dared him to reveal the name of the accused.

Netizens processed to heavily drag Don Jazzy for always jumping on every homos*xuality issues.
