He claims that God saved his life multiple times while he was a member of a militant group.
Duncan Mighty revealed in a recent interview with 3Music in Accra, Ghana, that he was involved in the Niger Delta crisis.
“God has rescued my life countless times. I am from Port Harcourt. I’m not from Lagos. I am from the South South, the conflict zone prior to the amnesty.
“I’ve been involved in a number of community events related to the protection of our people and oil.
“But when fame came, nobody know I am that boy who was in the creeks back in the days.”
He also revealed that he was a drummer in the church before switching to secular music.
“I was the first drummer for Christ Embassy in Port Harcourt,” he said.
