How To Get Rid of Fat Belly Folds

For people trying to lose weight, it might feel as if all fat is the same. But there are two different types of fat: visceral and subcutaneous.

Subcutaneous fat is the jiggly visible just under the skin. The subcutaneous fat is harmless and even fights against some diseases.

subcutaneous

Stubborn abdominal fat (folds) usually appear more on the back and tummy region. Sometimes it just restricts the kind of clothing we put on as many people with folds especially on the side of the tummy become very conscious of fitted clothing and prefer to put on loose clothing.

An unhealthy amount of flesh hanging from the stomach can be very embarrassing especially when you sit, your stomach folds slightly, causing crease marks to appear through your outfit which can be very annoying.

Folds are subcutaneous fat, one doesn’t necessarily have to be overweight to have these folds but certain factors can be the cause, such as; post weight loss phase, postpartum period, genetic factors, and even sitting and standing posture. In order to get rid of the subcutaneous try the below-listed option and you will become a lover of fitted clothing;

Eat Right
There is nothing as good as a balanced diet. Eating right is eating a well-balanced diet all the time. One way to reduce subcutaneous-fat is by eating right.

Eating a well-balanced diet (consisting mainly of fruits, veggies, and whole grains and low in fat and refined sugars) plus exercising regularly, will help you shed not only subcutaneous but also the deeper visceral-fat.

Work out
Depending on dieting alone will not help you reduce that side-fat. Doing regular exercises not only helps you slim down your whole body, but it actually shrinks the size of fat-cells in your stomach and tones your abdomen and midsection.

Exercises such as swimming, running, cycling, are very good to tackle this. Also stomach crunches, yoga plank poses, leg lifts are another set of exercise targets at subcutaneous fat especially.

Do these exercises every day for 30 minutes and watch that go out the door.

Drink lots of water
Water helps remove excess sodium from the abdomen and tightens it simultaneously with your abdomen. 8 glasses per day should do and works wonders all the time.

Reduce your stress level

Stress at no point in time has ever been a helpful hand in anything. Most times stress even aggravates and increases the situation. Increased stress level results in a high secretion of the enzyme called cortisol.

When in the blood, cortisol reacts with insulin to create abdominal fat/ folds. Tune things down a little. Go for walks, take breaks at work, read a book or watch a movie.

Get massages at spa etc. Stay away from activists that stress you out.

Stop Drinking and Smoking

This cannot be said more than enough. Smoking and drinking are not harmful to the health but they also a vehicle for folds.
