Nigerian comedian and actor, Julian Stanley better known as Funny Bone has revealed how a former female friend cut ties with him over renowned clergyman Jerry Eze.
Taking to his Instagram story, the comedian shared that a former university friend severed their bond after he declined her request for Pastor Jerry Eze’s personal phone number.
Funny Bone explained that while he didn’t have the pastor’s phone number, he wouldn’t have shared it even if he did.
The father of one expressed his relief over the severed communication, noting that the feeling is mutual. Funny Bone described the situation as an example of entitlement and pettiness, which he finds highly irritating.
“So an old University friend of mine, stopped talking to me because she claimed I refused to give her Pst Jerry Eze’s direct phone number.
Phone number wey I no get in the first place, and even if I did, should I willingly just give it out??
I am happy we ain’t talking no more and the feeling is very mutual. Some entitlement and pettiness can be irritating shaa 🤐 Man like funny 📌.”
Marriage
In other news, Funny Bone has shed light on why he chose to marry at the age of 36. According to him, the decision came when he felt fully prepared, acknowledging that marriage requires significant commitment.
He shared that he met his wife through a mutual friend, and as they got to know each other, they discovered a shared set of values, which solidified their connection.
Recall that Funny Bone and his wife exchanged vows on June 18, 2022, at the Balmoral Event Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos. The star-studded ceremony featured notable groomsmen, including actor Stan Nze and footballers Onazi Ogenyi, Kelechi Iheanacho, and Wilfred Ndidi. A standout moment from the event was the heartfelt prayer session led by his groomsmen, marking his transition into married life.
