HLFDW 2017: Eki Orleans Print Dream

The eponymous Fashion Label Eki Orleans is known for building its entire brand aesthetic on what can only be described as print story telling. The Designer since the inception of her brand has drawn from her Nigerian roots; its vibrancy and colour and all her many experiences, expressed and retold through her prints. The Eki Orleans AW18 Collection which debuted on Day 2 of the Heineken Lagos Fashion and Design Week was no different. Known for a consistent use of orange, this years print work featured the brands signature orange, albeit less visible than the teal, turquoise and white colours that formed the organism looking abstract print that was used. Ever the eco conscious brand, the bio degradable silk was the canvas of choice for this collection.

Models wafted back and forth the runway bringing with each appearance soft, bio looking dreams in print, Eki Orleans’ prints.
