Paul, Helen, better known as Tatafo, was born in Lagos State on January 29, 1978. She was raised there as well and is originally from Edo State in Nigeria. She was raised by her mother and grandmother in Lagos, Nigeria, after being born as the result of a rape.

Helen Paul is 42 years old and has been living in Lagos State for a long time, making it difficult to tell her apart. She is fluent in Yoruba, having grown up in Yoruba state her entire life.

While still in school, Helen Paul began her career as a front desk manager at the Eko FM studios, before branching out into other areas of the music industry, including backup singing and voice-over work.

An Eko FM employee gave her the nickname Tatafo because she talks a lot. Her education is reflected in her way of life, making it easier for her to get practically any job she wants.

She has worked as a freelance entertainer, in stand-up comedy shows, as a media and radio personality, in Nollywood, and as an entrepreneur. She also has some experience in the entertainment industry.

At the top media houses like Lagos State Television (LTV 8), Continental Broadcasting Service (CBS), MNet, and others, Tatafo also worked as a full-time media presenter as an expert.

Helen Paul shot to fame as a humorous figure dressed as a kid who presented on the Wetin Dey radio show on Radio Continental 102.3 FM in Lagos, Nigeria.

It wasn’t long before she was getting invitations to parties and gigs as a comedian, actress, and backup vocalist for artists such as P-Square and Yinka Davies.

She also worked for Naija FM and TV Continental, and she created memorable radio jingles for popular businesses including Indomie Noodles, Peak Milk, Cowbell Milk, and Bank PHB.

She presently co-hosts JARA on Africa Magic with Uti Nwachukwu.
