As working class individuals, we often find ourselves skipping the most important meal of the day “Breakfast” due to a limited time frame in the morning. One consistently tends to forget to eat till working hours are eventually over and this is a highly unhealthy habit. Furthermore one tends to snack instead of eating healthy meals, if you fall into this category, here are a few healthy foods that won’t take too long to prepare.
VEGETABLE WRAP
Ingredients: Avocado, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Salt, Black pepper, Unleavened bread.
Procedure: Slice tomatoes and avocado, spread lettuce on bread, add tomatoes and avocado to middle and sprinkle pinch of salt and pinch of black pepper to taste. Wrap in foil.
CHICKEN SALAD WITH ALMOND AND APPLES
Ingredients: Chicken, Curry, Thyme, Pepper, Onions, Salt, Apple, Almond, Cabbage, Olive oil, Water
Procedure: Cook chicken in spices, slice cabbage, cut lettuce with almonds and apples. Drain stock of chicken and mix chicken with other ingredients. Sprinkle olive oil and serve.
PASTA AND PEANUT SALAD
Ingredients: Pasta, Bardia Mixed spices, Curry, Cinnamon, Salt, Black pepper, Olive oil, Peanut, Broccoli
Procedure: Boil pasta with olive oil, cook broccoli with spices and mix together.
FRUIT AND VEGETABLE SALAD
Ingredients: Grapes, Apples, Lemon, Cucumber, Lettuce, Carrots
Procedure: Slice carrots, cucumber, apples, add lettuce and grapes, grate lemon skin to get zest, squeeze half a lemon to taste and mix ingredients.
