Nigerian Journalist, Kemi Olulonyo has supported MC Oluomo over his statement to Lagosians ahead of the gubernatorial election.
In a video that has gone viral online, the chairman of Lagos Parks instructed his people to take the next step if they saw they were losing.
He claimed that they would know what to do if they realized they were losing.
Also, he recommended people to stay at home if they weren’t going to vote for Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his favorite candidate.
Netizens called for the arrest of MC Oluomo for encouraging violence.
Kemi Olunloyo defended him, saying that MC Oluomo couldn’t hurt a fly because he was just showing off his humorous side.
She compared MC Oluomo’s declaration to IPOB’s directive to stay at home.
Kemi Olunloyo stated that MC Oluomo isn’t a threat and was joking since he isn’t a candidate for office or a member of the government.
She wrote;
“MCOLUOMO: “If you’re not voting for us then stay at home” is NOT a threat!! Oluomo is a supporter of APC and NOT a govt official or candidate. There is no need to fear. I see the statement as a trolling comment to IPOB’s sit at home program. Oluomo has a comedic side to him. He would never hurt a fly”.
