“He was my family”- Ellen DeGeneres reacts to the passing of Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss

 

In a statement on Wednesday, Ellen DeGeneres expressed her “heartbreak” over the passing of Stephen “tWitch” Boss, a longtime DJ and co-executive producer of her former talk show.

“I’m heartbroken. tWitch was pure love and light,” she wrote on Instagram. “He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him. Please send your love and support to Allison and his beautiful children – Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia.”

His wife, Allison Holker Boss, confirmed his passing in a statement on Wednesday. He was 40 years old.

According to the LA County Medical Examiner, he committed suicide. On Wednesday, the LA County Coroner’s Office released the results of their investigation and the final report regarding his passing.

Boss joined “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” as a DJ in 2014, eventually becoming a co-executive producer and occasional guest host.
