“He is a casualty of PDP’s reputation” Netizens react as singer, Banky W loses to Labour Party's Attah

Netizens have reacted after  singer, Bankole Wellington better known as Banky W of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) lost to Thaddeus Attah of the Labour Party (LP) in the Eti-Osa Federal constituency election.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared Attah as the winner of the Eti-Osa Federal constituency seat in the House of Representatives.

According to Professor Funmilayo Odukoya, who is INEC Returning Officer, Attah pulled a total of 24,075 votes to defeat his rival, Banky W of the People Democratic Party (PDP) who gathered 18,666 votes, and Mr Babajide Obanikoro of APC, who had 16,901 votes.

Reacting to it, Netiznes on social media opined that the party Banky W belongs to partially caused his defeat.

They noted that if Banky W had camped with Labour Party, there are higher chances of him winning the election.
