Reggae Blues Star, Harrison Tare Okiri, popularly known as HarrySong, has left record label 5-Star music, owned by artiste Kcee.
The 35-year-old singer/songwriter says he is setting up his own music company, Alter Plate
He made this known during an interview with Planetradio TV.
Harrysong said he was not appreciated at 5-Star music, and that his contract with the label had expired a long time ago.
He said, “What bothers me is not the work, it’s the appreciation….. You’re helping someone that knows nothing and the person is feeling like he is helping you. You write a song for someone and the person is telling you, ‘it’s when I sing your song, you blow’. It’s childishness.”
