Charles Oputa, also known as Charly Boy, has urged controversial pastor Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, aka Odumeje, to utilise his influence to save Nigeria from burning.
Charly Boy complained that Nigeria’s economy is collapsing, saying that the country is in serious need. The entertainer posted on X that there is famine in the country.
According to Charly Boy: “Dear Odumeje, We Nigerians have humbly come to you – please stop the nation from burning, fire is catching, and the economy is plummeting.”
“We ask for your power in this desperate time of need.
“Abeg no mind Dangote, he get plenty money oo, this hunger no dey reach him side that’s why E no understand say E go humble before the Indabosky #Naijamatter.”
This is coming when President Bola Tinubu rolled out measures to tackle food insecurity in the country.
The measures, announced by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Abubakar Kyari said a 150-Day Duty-Free Import Window for food commodities would be implemented by the Federal Government.
He noted that within its period, government will relax the tax and import duties on Wheat, Maize, Husked Brown Rice, and Cowpeas
