On Friday, social media was awash with news of the millionaire footballer’s divorce from his wife, Hiba Abouk.

The wife who filed the divorce complaint was alleged to have wanted half of the PSG star’s belongings but was told that Hakimi has nothing because all of his properties were obtained in his mother’s name.

In response, some social media users, mostly men, praised the Moroccan, claiming it was the best decision they could have made.

But Peter Okoye, better known by his stage name Mr P, came to Twitter to refute their claim, stating they should have married their mothers instead.

“Like I don’t get it,” he wrote. The truth is unpleasant, but it must be told. Simply put, if you don’t trust her, don’t marry. Or do you expect your wife to suffer as a result of the divorce?

“Remember! Your mother’s wife was previously your father’s wife, and you trusted her with all your stuff in her name. #HakimiDivorce.

“The mother you’re clamoring for was/is someone’s wife before she became his mother.” What if she received the same treatment? Please get married to your mother! EOS.

“Make una all go marry una Mama!… no time!” “Because Hakimi senses wan ki una.”
