Gtbank Fashion Weekend. Did You Miss Out? We Got You.

Not relenting on its mission to promote the Nigerian enterprise,  this year’s fashion weekend  has proven once again  that Guarantee Trust Bank is not here to play.

The best part isn’t  the amazing retail sale or the runway shows but the idea of bringing the world to Nigeria, so we can learn from it and in turn showcasing the Nigerian to the world.
I remember last year,  designers wanted to just have models wear the clothes and walk on the runway just has its been,  but seeing international designers put up a show and Nigerians having the patient to watch enjoy and want more,  our Nigerian faves put in the work this year.
The two-day event had an amazing line up with  12 runway designers and 5 presentation designers.  The two-day event witnessed amazing pieces from designers such as Lanre Da Silver Ajayi,  Tracy Reese, Laquan Smith,  Julien MacDonald, Ituen Bassey, Ejiro Amos Taffiri,  Mimi Plange , Millie Collins,  Ladunni Lambo,  Meena, Taibo Bacar, and Wizdhrum  Franklin.
Day one kicked off with  Tracy  Reese and ended with Meena while Day two opened with Ejiro Amos Taffiri.
Curated by the Style Infidel, presentations were by; Samuel Noon,  Tokyo James,  Gozel Green, Kamsi Tcharlse and more.
The master classes went from the business of fashion to photography, makeup,  sourcing and buying,  runway, styling and more.  With amazing speakers like  Miss Jay,   Ty Bello, Vanessa Kingori, Marco,  Sophie Hardy and more.
The art market was live,  with a lot to buy, and  Adire making.
People also got creative with their street styles.
More runway pictures coming up.
