Grammy Power! Bose Ogulu Has A Word Or Two For Women

Bose Ogulu, Grammy award winning singer Burna Boy’s mum and manager, has dished out some wise words to women.

Ms Ogulu during a chat with media personality, Latasha Ngwube, advised and cautioned women in Nigeria.

In her words, Ms Ogulu emphasized that it is more important for women to be respected than to be loved. She also asked women to ensure they carry themselves the way they want to be treated.

In her words

”Carry yourself the way you want to be treated. If you make yourself an object, you’ll be treated like one.

Let people know there is a brain between your ears, when they do, they may be uncomfortable around you, but they will respect you.

It is more important to be respected than liked.

Be competent at what you decide to do.
Or
Learn competence in something, before you do it.

Shut Up, when you don’t know what people are talking about, (* that should be a prerequisite for all twitter users before logging on) have the loudest voice when you do know.”

Meanwhile, Bose Ogulu had a proud mother moment on March 21 after her son won the Grammy award for best world album.

The proud mother was spotted on social media celebrating her son’s win.

The 63rd Grammy Awards and mother’s day for the year 2021 coincidentally fell on the same day and she described it as the best mother’s day gift mentioning that she was feeling good.

The singer won his first Grammy Award 21 March and dedicated the win to every new generation African who dares to dream.

He shared that walking away with a Grammy is proof that dreams come through and everyone is born for greatness.
