Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has called out popular blogger, Linda Ikeji after she tagged his first wife, May, estranged.
The drama began when Nollywood actress and second wife of actor Yul, Judy Austin celebrated May on her birthday on Friday, 16th September.
This, after Yul celebrated the mother of his four children and went on to hail her as CEO Extraordinaire. He wrote,
“Happy birthday to my wife, my CEO Extraordinaire, Queen May Yul Edochie @mayyuledochie. I wish you many more beautiful and successful years. May God continue to guide you, protect you and bless you beyond your imagination. Love you forever”.
Proving that she has no blood for her senior wife, Judy Austin wished her a happy birthday in a different way.
She liked the message Yul penned to May, took to her Instagram page, and penned a birthday message to May. She wrote,
“Happy beautiful birthday Queen May Yul Edochie. I pray for God’s love and protection. Wishing you everything good in life. Enjoy your day”.
However, she received backlash and gaslighting from Netizens over her post.
While reporting about May’s reaction towards the post from her husband and her younger wife, Linda Ikeji’s blog tagged May ‘estranged’ and noted that the controversial couple didn’t receive any response from May.
The blog wrote,
“Actor Yul Edochie’ second wife, Judy Austin, wished his estranged first wife, May Yul Edochie, a happy birthday on her IG page. Yul also wished her a happy birthday but the couple got no acknowledgement from May.
“May is still not following her estranged husband on IG”.
Responding to the post, Yul wrote,
“Linda you know I have a lot of respect for you. This your caption no gel naa. Estranged wife means a wife who is no longer living with the husband.
“Both of us are still living in the same house, in our mansion in Ajah. So how is she estranged? Peter Obi will always say ‘go and verify’. You didn’t verify this one before writing Linda”.
Netizens have continually slammed Yul for marrying his colleague, Judy Austin and having a child with her.
