Glitz Africa Fashion Week, Ghana’s most important annual fashion event, is back for its ninth year.
Expect a dynamic and engaging fashion event themed Creativity and Sustainability, including seminars, lectures, exhibitions, photoshoots, and runway shows.

The Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre, The Underbridge, Garage Lounge & Bar, and Octagon Rooftop will host GAFW from October 21 to 24, 2021, bringing together industry players, fashion designers, entrepreneurs, influencers, students, and enthusiasts for an exciting lineup of activities.
On Wednesday, October 20th, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., there will be a Beauty Forum for beauty entrepreneurs to interact with beauty lovers about their products and services before the runway shows begin.
On Thursday, October 21st, there will be a runway show for streetwear designers titled “Free Street” — this is a fun casual fashion show featuring streetwear designs and collections in Accra.

The Trade Lounge/Sales Exhibition will take place on Saturday, followed by the Business of Fashion Seminar at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre.
The runway displays resume on Sunday, October 24th, with spectacular SS’22 designs showcased by Ghanaian and African designers in front of a diverse throng of influencers, media, celebrities, socialites, and industry stakeholders at the Octagon rooftop. By 10 p.m., there will be a Fashion Night Out after party to wrap up the event.
