MTV’s award ceremonies may not yield the fanciest red carpets ever, but they do provide some of the funkiest fashion. This year’s Europe Music Awards were no different. Nicki Minaj, who won awards for “Best Hip Hop” and “Best Look,” showed up to the event wearing an elaborate silver gown by Versace before changing into the outfit she would wear for her own performance on stage. Camila Cabello, who won the most awards of the evening, donned a red floor-length gown by Alex Perry and styled by Karla Welch.
There were also plenty of celebs in attendance whose careers at this point aren’t defined by their musical abilities, even if that’s been a part of their past. Think Ashlee Simpson Ross, who wore Raisa & Vanessa to present the “Best Pop” award alongside her husband Evan Ross, and Lindsay Lohan, who wore a gold lamé dress and seemed happy just to be an attendee. (Don’t worry, LiLo, we’ll never forget 2004’s “Rumors.”)
