But, Keys recently revealed on Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place podcast, failure to establish boundaries and find balance in her life has in the past left her feeling exhausted and overwhelmed.
At one point during her career, Keys said she found herself saying “yes” to every opportunity her team proposed.
“I would be so overwhelmed or overworked – I was just saying yes to everything and then I’d be exhausted,” she explained. “And there’s no joy – it steals your joy.”
