Nollywood stars have taken to Instagram to offer prayers to May Edochie, the wife of their colleague, Yul Edochie as she lays her son, Kambilichukwu to rest.
Glamsquad reported weeks back that Yul Edochie and his wife, May lost their first son, Kambilichukwu, to the cold hands of death.
According to reports, Kambilichukwu who was 15 at the time of his passing has been laid to rest today, 24th April 2023 amidst tears.
Taking to her Instagram page, actress, Georgina Onuoha turned health practitioner shared a picture of May Edochie and prayed to God to comfort her. She also urged her fans to say prayers for her sister and friend
She wrote:
“Dear Lord,
“Creator and finisher of our faith. Today I uplift my sister and friend @mayyuledochie into your loving care. We are a people of faith and we continually trust in your words.
I beg you lord to look kindly upon your daughter now and always.
Unto thee oh, do I lift up her soul, oh my God we trust in you, let’s not be ashamed and Let not our enemies triumph over us. Please dearest Ginafam, say a word of prayer for my sister and her family.”
Following suit, Victoria Inyama also prayed heavily for the now mother of three. She entreated the Holy Spirit to direct and guide May towards wholeheartedly trusting God. Although she acknowledged that no words could fully describe her encounter, she affirmed that God remains sovereign.
“I pray for you today. That the Holy Spirit guides you and lead you to trust God unconditionally. I still can’t find words to match your Experience….
God is still God @mayyuledochie”.
Actor, Benson Okonkwo also consoled the Edochies, especially May. Taking to Instagram, Okonkwo shared a collaged picture of Yul, his first wife May and the deceased son.
Okonkwo prayed that Kambilichukwu would rest in peace and also wished May Yul Edochie would be strong.
“May the soul of Kambilichukwu Rest in peace. Be strong, The Edochies @mayyuledochie it’s well.”
