Gabriel Afolayan stars in Clarence Peters’ new series ‘Inside Life’

Gabriel Afolayan has been cast in Clarence Peters’ upcoming series Inside Life. The acclaimed music video director and filmmaker recently revealed the cast for his new project on social media.

The video director allied with Netflix for his debut series, bringing about a new project that marks the beginning of his career in the field of television series. Inside Life, a series brimming with drama and suspense, is the result of this collaboration, offering viewers a thrilling and captivating viewing experience.

“Inside Life” navigates the complexities of Nigerian lives, where harsh governmental policies and the struggle for survival shape daily realities.

Set in Lagos State, Nigeria, the narrative follows a desperate man, a devoted sister, and an ambitious woman as they face personal and societal hardships. The film marks Peters’ return to filmmaking after directing the 2014 short horror film Hex.

Hex premiered at the 2015 Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF), where it won the Best Short Film award.

Set to premiere on October 11, 2024, Inside Life promises to captivate audiences with its intense portrayal of themes like greed, power, and survival.

The series features a stellar cast including Jide Kosoko, Jiyan Babaoja, Zack Orji, Meg Otanwa, Scarlett Gomez and Gabriel Afolayan, all poised to deliver performances that will resonate deeply with viewers.
