It’s no longer news that Funke Akindele reigns as Africa’s undisputed box office queen. In January of last year, she made history as the first Nigerian filmmaker to gross over ₦1 billion in cinemas, with her 2023 blockbuster A Tr!be Called Judah raking in a staggering ₦1.4 billion.

This achievement came as no surprise to many, given Funke’s reputation as one of Nollywood’s most industrious figures. Her cinematic triumphs over the past three years—A Tr!be Called Judah, Battle on Buka Street, and Omo Ghetto: The Saga—remain the highest-grossing Nollywood films of all time.

Kicking off the New Year in style, JJ Skillz’s ex-wife celebrated herself with a captivating video, radiating confidence and self-love. Gushing over her beauty, she declared herself fearfully and wonderfully made, while encouraging her fans to celebrate their uniqueness and accomplishments.
