Asisat Oshoala of the Super Falcons of Nigeria has been named to the 20-man shortlist for the 2022 Women’s Ballon d’Or award, glamsquad reports.

Oshoala was named the 2022 CAF Women’s Player of the Year only a month ago, marking the 27-year-fifth old’s time winning the award, surpassing her compatriot Perpetua Nkwocha.
However, she will compete for the Ballon d’Or against formidable opponents such as Sam Kerr, Vivianne Miedema, Beth Mead, and Alex Morgan.
