Nkechi’s Sunday Blessing was born on February 14, 1989 in the Surulere region of Lagos State. Although firstly from Aba, Abia state, she grew up in Lagos with her other siblings, which is why she’s so fluent in Yoruba.
She entered her primary education at Olu Abiodun kindergarten and primary academy and secondary education at Barachel Model College, all in Lagos. She also continued her studies at Lagos State University, where she completed a six-month training course in theatrical trades. She also studied foreign relations at North American University of Houdegbe, Republic of Benin.

Actress Nkechi Sunday began acting in 2008, when Kemi Korede introduced her in the movie”Bewaji”. Latterly, Emeka Duru also offered her a part in Emem Isong’s”Through Fire”. She is, still, popular for her 2012 movie’Kafila Omo Ibadan’. She came notorious as a producer after the release of her first movie,”Omoge Lekki”. “ Omoge Lekki” was authored by Mercy Aigbe and told the story of Lekki girls living false lives.
