AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys has reportedly separated from his wife, Rochelle DeAnna McLean, but has not filed for divorce, glamsquad reports
The couple commented on the news, telling TMZ:
“Marriage is difficult, but it is worthwhile. We have mutually decided to separate for the time being in order to work on ourselves and our marriage in the hopes of building a stronger future.
“The plan is to reunite and continue to nurture our love for one another and for our family. At this time, we request respect and privacy.
“Separation is difficult enough without the commentary; please be considerate and keep in mind that there are children involved.”
AJ and Rochelle married in 2011 after 6 years of dating, saying “I Do” at the Beverly Hills Hotel in front of the rest of his Backstreet Boys crew.
They have two daughters, Ava and Lyric.
