Nollywood producer and director Olajide Kareem, better known as Seun Egbegbe who was found guilty of fraud and sentenced to six years and eight months in prison in Lagos, has uploaded a video of his six-year reunion with his mother.
Egbegbe was placed on remand on February 10 after allegedly accepting money under false pretense from no fewer than 40 Bureaux de Change operators over the period of two years between 2015 and 2017.
He was accused of scamming the BDC operators by claiming to have naira to exchange for foreign currency.
Only one of the 44 charges presented against him, Count 19, was deemed to be accurate, and Egbegbe was sentenced as a result.
Seun praised God and conveyed his joy at meeting her in the video.
The mother and son were seen in the video crying and cuddling one other.
