It is advicable to know the colour of your vagina discharge so you can know when you are dying….just kidding so you can know how healthy you are.
Vagina on its own is an amazing self-cleaning organ, but before you start to worry if something is wrong with you read this.
Creamy and Milky white
A variety of white shades of discharge, from eggshell to cream, can be normal. Unless your discharge is accompanied by certain textures or smells, don’t fret too much. A white discharge does almost the same thing as a clear discharge; to keep your vagina lubricated during sex and keep your vaginal tissues healthy.
Clear or Whitish
Clear discharge, which can also be whitish in colour, is usually normal. It may have an egg-white like consistency. It’s also the go-to discharge a healthy body expels to rebalance itself – because your vagina is an amazing, self-cleaning organ. This colour usually occurs during your ovulation, pregnancy or when you are aroused; all absolutely normal.
Whitish and rough
When your discharge is whitish and a bit rough like there is a bit of powder in it, then you know you have yeast infection and need to see a doctor.
