She starred in the action film The Commuter and played Anthony Hopkins’ Cordelia in Lear of Britain in Richard Eyre’s TV King Lear in 2018. She played Elizabeth de Burgh in the Netflix landmark Outlaw King (2018) starring Chris Pine as Robert the Bruce in 2019. She then starred in a six-part miniseries adapted from John le Carré’s spy novel The Little Thresher, in which she played the role of 1970s actress who is involved in a spy plot. Her breakthrough came with the release of three movies in 2019.
