Fendi Spring Summer 2023 Haute Couture Runway Show

Fashion house, Fendi have released some very amazing designs for Haute Couture 2023 which will leave you in awe as the first few were indeed breathtaking. The fashion show which started with models coming out of a dark corner into the light to the amazement of audience who were present as everyone present took out their camera to capture the beautiful designs.

From its beginnings as an Italian leather and fur firm, Fendi’s heritage and expertise have been passed down. Furs cannot be displayed on a runway today due to the passage of time, clearly. A pair of embroidered cross-body stoles by Jones served as a reference to the past without using fur; the remainder of his trompe l’oeil skills were devoted to making leather look and drape like fabric. That is, unless you were wearing it, in which case you wouldn’t ever know.

Jones had examined an archived silk dress by Karl Lagerfeld for Fendi, and the idea of the swoops and draperies was a subtle nod to that piece of Roman classical sculpture. Jones covered it with exquisite slips and bras made of silk with lace trim.

This season’s couture displays have been showing influences from the 1930s. In the hammered-silk folds of a draped dress worn by Julia Nobis, Jones captured the essence of the genre. a delicate and lovely thing done with unpretentious grace. That would be a very striking way to enter a place for a woman who can afford Fendi.
