Adetokunbo Olufela Durotoye is a business adviser, leadership expert, homebuilder and motivational speaker, born May 12, 1971 in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
Fela Durotoye, whose parents are educators at the University of Ibadan, attended the Staff Children’s School and Moremi Secondary Academy, independently, for primary and secondary education.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science with economics and a master’s degree in business administration from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
CAREER
He began his career in 1992 as a fiscal analyst at Ventures & Trusts Limited before assuming the head of client service at Philips Consulting Limited in 1998. In 2018, he spoke to over 200 entrepreneurs at the first Nigerian show of American Business Forum in Tampa, Florida, where he performed on stage with Ben Murra-Bruce, Mohammed Shabba Lafiagi, President of the Nigeria Stock Exchange, Abimbola Ogunbajo, Ade Olufeko and others.
Let’s not overlook his 2009 part in the “ Mushin Makeover” design which was supported by multitudinous celebrities including Banky W, Omoni Oboli, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Dele Momodu, Segun Dangote, Stella Damascus, Kate Henshaw.
In February 2018, Durotoye declared his intention to run in Nigeria’s 2019 presidential election under the Alliance for Nigeria’s new political party. Durotoye is also married to famous counsel, makeup artist and CEO of the House of Tara, Tara Fela Durotoye. Their union was blessed with three children.
