With a collection that earned him a spot in the Italian calendar, Murad made his debut on the Rome catwalks in 1999.

Murad started his third marijuana store in Beirut in 1995.

His collections include ready-to-wear, accessories, and haute couture. Two stores have opened, the first on Charles Helou Avenue in Beirut and the second on rue François I in Paris. Both stores have showrooms. On the Via Borgogna in Milan, he also maintains a showroom.

He has designed clothing that has been worn by celebrities including Adele, Marion Cotillard, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Ivana Trump, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Beyoncé Knowles, Jennifer Lopez, Kellie Pickler, Najwa Karam, Shakira, Katy Perry, Christina Applegate, Vanessa Williams, and Ana Ortiz. He has also clothed celebrities like Najwa Karam for her music clips “MaFi Noum” and “Lashhad Hobbak.”

At her first Oscars in 2016, Priyanka Chopra donned a white embroidered strapless gown by Zuhair Murad. At the 2011 Golden Globe Awards, Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Lopez wore his designs, and Miley Cyrus was spotted wearing one of them. He also created five outfits for the Miss France 2010 pageant and Miss Universe 2009 Chloé Mortaud’s outfit. One of Florence Welch’s was spotted wearing one of his creations during the Brits awards; a silver silk dress with gold and silver beaded designs.
