The MONSE designs draw their inspiration from menswear and traditional tailoring from a deconstructed angle. The brand’s distinctive design features include things like twisted tailoring, cascade hems, and slashed silhouettes.

A modern woman who wants to stand out from the crowd without sacrificing her carefree personality can consider the MONSE range.

Women’s RTW, including unisex styles, and accessories are among the brand offers that can be purchased at upscale stores all around the world.

Back story of Laura Kim

Kim’s grandmother, a retired textile manufacturer, taught her the fundamentals of sewing, pattern-making, and sketching when she was a young girl in Seoul, South Korea. She also helped her develop a critical eye for detail.

Her abilities were instantly acknowledged when she relocated to New York to enroll at Pratt Institute, receiving scholarships from the council of fashion designers (CFDA) and fashion group worldwide.

She worked as an intern at TSE Cashmere, Donna Karan, and Oscar de la Renta while studying fashion. She received a permanent employment offer from Mr. De la Renta after he was impressed with her efforts.

Kim served as Oscar’s design director for twelve years during which time she oversaw all facets of collection creation and oversaw a studio in charge of fabric design, ready-to-wear, knitwear, and accessories.

Back story of Fernando Garcia

Garcia grew up moving between northern Spain and the Dominican Republic. He developed an early interest in the arts, and his love of painting on napkins inspired him to pursue a degree in architecture at the esteemed Notre Dame.

Garcia made the decision to combine his passion for art and architecture with fashion after graduating. Garcia was urged by Oscar de la Renta to travel to New York for an internship after having the chance to meet him and show him some “doodles”; this swiftly led to 6 years as a principle designer, allowing Garcia to hone his design and craftsmanship abilities.

Garcia contributed significantly to the creation of some of the most recognizable evening wear items in the Oscars during that time.

However, their Resort 2023 collection and SS23 RTW Collection were everything a true fashion mogul look out for.
