In today’s edition of fashion evaluation, we will be talking about Afrobeat singer, Davido. Before I go head, Lets talk a little bit about Davido.
David Adedeji Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer who was born on November 21, 1992. His music fuses worldwide pop with traditional African themes.
Davido released “Dami Duro,” the second single from his debut studio album Omo Baba Olowo, in 2012 and went on to win the Next Rated Award at The Headies (2012).
He recorded several successful singles between 2013 and 2015, and in January 2016, he agreed to a record deal with Sony Music. He subsequently established the record company Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), which has signed artists like Mayorkun, Liya, Peruzzi, and Dremo. Davido and Sony’s RCA Records inked a record deal in July 2016. He released the 5-track EP Son of Mercy in October 2016.
