The fans of Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson-Okojie have taken another turn after she publicly enforced Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for a second term.
The mother of four took to her Instagram page and shared a report card of how well the incumbent governor has performed.
Mercy Johnson asserted that Sanwo-Olu has performed exceptionally well in various sectors including healthcare, culture and entertainment, road construction and rehabilitation, environment, food, education, and technology.
She wrote:
“This is why my choice is Governor Babajide Sanwoolu; His efforts that have improved healthcare, women’s development, transportation, entrepreneurship, education, and infrastructure in Lagos State.
“Key points for me include the handling of the Covid 19 pandemic, entrepreneurship support and all the work behind the scenes helping women who have been victims of domestic violence to supporting their entrepreneurship.
“His results can be seen and measured. Yes, there is still a lot of work left to do, I believe in my heart that he can and will do as he says”.
Fans slams Mercy Johnson
Mercy Johnson received criticism from fans in her comments section for endorsing Sanwo-Olu. Several people raised questions as to why she did not display the same level of enthusiasm for the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as she did for her chosen gubernatorial candidate. Additionally, some individuals asked why she is not supporting her colleague, Funke Akindele.
