George Lazenby, who is known for being the actor who played James Bond after Sean Connery, has suggested that Liam Hemsworth should be considered for the lead role in the James Bond franchise, as the search for a new actor continues.
In a chat with TMZ, Lazenby says Liam deserves Hollywood’s famed license to kill for a whole lot of reasons.
Lazenby stated that Liam Hemsworth has the acting credentials to be the next James Bond agent and has the experience to handle the media attention and scrutiny that comes with the role.
Lazenby, who was only 29 when he was cast as the youngest James Bond, replacing Sean Connery, also thinks that 32-year-old Liam Hemsworth has the potential to play the role for the next decade while still maintaining his youthful appearance.
He further said that Liam has a connection to Australia which is a British Commonwealth nation, and every James Bond to date has been under the British crown.
Lazenby concluded that the next James Bond must possess the traits of being “crazy, arrogant, confident, and ambitious” in order to effectively take on the role.
