Esin was born in Akwa Ibom State, a geographic area south-south of occupied Nigeria mainly by the minority tribes in Nigeria. Esin is specifically from the Oron local government area in Akwa-Ibom. Erin completed her primary education in her hometown of Akwa Ibom, where she earned her first graduation certificate. After completing his primary education, Esin went to Immaculate Conception Itak-Ikono High School in Akwa Ibom State, where he earned his high school certificate in West Africa. Esin then went to Calabar University in Cross River State, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in theatrical arts.
Esin, before officially joining the Nigerian film industry, commonly known as Nollywood, in 2008, was a banker who ended up quitting her job as a banker to focus on what she described as her true passion, which was acting. Esin joined the Nigeria Film Industry (Nollywood) in 2008 after attending an audition for a film, where he successfully appeared and received a call from the producers to appear on the film project. Esin made his directorial debut with the film Spirit. According to the respected Nigerian news outlet The Tribune, Esin has appeared in over 100 films.
