This was revealed by an Ethiopian woman during an interview with Nigerian media personality Daddy Freeze.

According to the woman, the hotel management canceled the show after the country’s “powerful” Orthodox Church officials accused the artist of being a “devil worshipper” because to his customised necklace.

Rema donned a customized necklace with a burning church and inverted crosses in the artwork used for the show.

“They made a statement, like a press release in Ethiopia about Rema,” she explained. Yes, as you can imagine, it’s a huge issue.

“They’re basically saying he worships the devil because of what’s on his neck.” To be honest, I never considered it myself. To be honest, there’s more to it.”

Meanwhile, in a viral video, a woman can be seen defacing Rema’s Addis Ababa performance poster.
