Emilia Wickstead Runway Show for London Fashion Week FW23 Ready To Wear Collection is one of the best designs showcased at the fashion week with some beautiful colors in use. Her color combinations were also appropriately out of place, not least in her full-skirted floral designs, where turquoise, brown, and pistachio clashed in one and gray foliage and blood red roses were featured in another.

Tweedy two-pieces arrived in unexpected hues of candyfloss pink and acid green. Yet, she was also fascinated by the potential of black, in part because of David Lynch’s adage that “the more black you pour into a hue, the more dreamy it gets.”
She made a comeback to the runway for this season, which was presented at the Royal Academy of Arts. She has used a film-format for her presentations since since the outbreak. She still wasn’t certain a few weeks ago whether she would stage a show or remain with a video concept.
